San Antonio is a family-friendly city with lots to offer for people of all ages. Our favorite way to spend the day in San Antonio is by visiting one of our three zoos, which are less than 10 miles apart from each other. The San Antonio Zoo, Sea Life Aquarium, and Brackenridge Park have something for everyone! If you’re looking for more ideas or want to know what’s going on in town this week, check out some of our blog posts below.

Tips for What to Do in San Antonio if Your Family Is Bored

The Alamo is a fantastic place to visit when your family needs something to do in San Antonio. It’s one of the most popular attractions in the city, and it also has an extensive museum with exhibits on Texas history and culture. Plus, you can learn about everything that happened at The Alamo during its famous siege! If your kids like museums (and who doesn’t?), they’ll probably love learning more about this important part of Texas history – it’s almost guaranteed to be their favorite activity while you’re visiting San Antonio if there are bored.

Another great thing to do when you have a restless kid or two is head over to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This theme park has plenty of rides for all ages, from little kiddie rides to huge roller coasters. Plus, there are live shows and events every day at the park that you can take your kids to see when they’re in need of some entertainment! If Six Flags is too much for them (or if it’s just not their cup of tea), then check out Sea World San Antonio. This theme park has several different animal exhibits where you can get up close with dolphins, sea lions, penguins – even polar bears! There are also plenty of other attractions like thrill rides, a water play area, and special events happening throughout the year.

If all else fails and your family still needs something fun to do while they’re visiting San Antonio why not go on an adventure? The Texas Hill Country is full of hills, caves, rivers, and waterfalls. These natural attractions can be great for exploration with your family – just make sure you don’t go too far into the wilderness or try to climb any dangerous rocks! You might also want to check out San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. This park has four different missions that are worth checking out if you’re looking for things to do in San Antonio when your kids need some entertainment.
